In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.

The mission centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an special katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

This patch also adds the game's latest complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
